STEAM Club

 

The STEAM club introduces students to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) through collaborative, project-based learning experiences. Areas of computer science such as programming, computer graphics, web design, robotics, Internet of Things and 3D design will be covered. Interactive engineering projects with a Rasberry Pi computer, MakeyMakey console and Arduino circuit boards are introduced. Members of the STEAM club participate in various competitions. Last year, four of our students received awards at the NYC Mobile CSP Expo.

 

Girls Who Code Club

 

Club members join a supportive environment of peers and learn to see themselves as computer scientists. Beyond the club, girls can tap into an alumni network of tens of thousands of women across the country who are using computer science to solve problems they care about.
